chainmail

I painted this version of Joan of Arc for my mom. Her middle name is Joan, after this famous saint.

In this painting I love how she is protected by chainmail. I love that she has all the qualities of a knight, and how she was a leader, protecting what was good, in spite of the evil around her

My son is working independently, with one other person, to create that same protection for e-mail. So the minute someone writes an email, it is encrypted and only the sender and recipient can read the contents. The server, nor anyone else, would be able to break the encryption.

I suggested the name “chainmail” to him. I think such a name is worthy of all the knights in shining Armour…those who are protecting the weak and the vulnerable. Don’t you?
