“Cloud” remote “communications”

The cactus at the entrance to her home was about to bloom. It got a ton of sun and barely any water and yet inexplicably the bloom was budding forth. The restricted and cramped and harsh environment surrounding the cactus had not prevented it from doing what it’s purpose was to do.
And in the same way, Filly thought, people, no matter how hurt or restricted they were made to feel, could not be stopped from achieving their God given purpose.
Filly went and first thing in the morning, opened up the bible, wondering about what was TRUTH.

She had seen an Elon Musk post about a woman talking about wanting to fight climate change and when she was asked to “be honest” she said “I want communism”. The truth was something that many people cloak with words that have nothing to do with the truth.

“They have mouths, but they speak not” eyes have they but they see not. They have ears, but they hear not, noses have they but they smell not. They have hands, but they handle not, neither speaks they through their throat.
They that make them, are like unto them’ so is everyone that trusteth in them.
Oh Israel, trust thou in the lord, he IS their help and shield. “

This was the first of two bible verses that Filly picked randomly for the day. She opened the bible and her left hand was pointing to the above passage and the right hand was pointing to the below passage on the opposite page.

“The right hand of the Lord is exalted, the right hand of the lord doeth valiantly. I shall not die but live, and declare the works of the lord. The Lord hath chastened me sore’ but he hath not given me over unto death. Open to me the gates of righteousness” I will go unto them and I will praise the LORD”

Filly knew that these passages were speaking to two different groups of people. The first, was speaking to those good and hardworking people who, needs be, trusted in “online or “over the phone” communications…

There were many organizations such as Live Ops, Arise, CloudTalk, Concentrix, NextRep, Peak Support, and Alorica that provide a “virtual contact center”. Virtual means not face to face…eyes that cannot see, ears that cannot hear.

Though these organizations may have reputable people working for them, they operate from remote places and are not directly connected to the companies they represent so their employees do not necessarily have loyalty to those companies they take calls for. They also are not paid very well.

The fact that consumers in the market place do not have a face to go with the name, and cannot see who they are dealing with, makes the online marketplace rife with scams. Such is the Achilles heel of the internet “marketplace”. It is not trustworthy.

The FDIC is warning consumers of recent scams where imposters are pretending to be “agency representatives” to perpetrate fraudulent schemes. During these unprecedented times, consumers may receive false information regarding the security of their deposits or their ability to access cash. (NOT TRUSTWORTHY) Consumers may be contacted by persons who claim to be employed by an agency, bank or another entity. These scams may involve a variety of communication channels including emails, phone calls, letters, text messages, faxes and social media. Those posing as reputable people may ask for a variety of personal information dates, account numbers etc. None of this information should be provided.

In addition, “scammers can hijack phone numbers and make calls without the users knowledge and can use credentials they have obtained, to interfere with a phone number and identity. “ What would be the purpose of this behavior? To get money of course, money that belongs to someone else.

What Filly thought, was that the “LACK OF PERSONAL CONTACT” was something all of these had in common. By hiding behind the cloak of the internet, those entering the market place with evil intent, could not be distinguished from those who were reputable.
On “the cloud” there were indeed those “who have no real eyes, ears, nose or hands”. In her estimation, the bible was talking about the internet.

Who would have access to phone numbers and be able to make calls using cell phone networks and reroute calls…remote phone answering companies. In the one called Live Ops, which employs more than 25000 people, the organization describes itself “as a government contracted phone service handling government business”. Hmmm

But when a person looked up the phone number for a local investment firm, that number instead (verified as of Feb. of 2024) showed it was tied to Christopher Lai who lives in Thousand Oaks California. How can an “above board investment firm” with a valid street address, have a phone number that goes to two different locations legitimately?

It is not a stretch to imagine that someone with the same phone number online as a reputable investment firm, could then deceive account holders to gain access to their funds.

For those who had been scammed by being spoken to falsely by those without tongues or ears or eyes or hands, because the transaction was held over the “internet”, Filly knew that these people could trust that the LORD was watching…which was the first bible verse message. God would restore them double.

But for those who were doing the scamming, the message was different. It said that they were still alive. They would have at this point experienced punishment (kind of like the punishment that people got in frozen or Jumanji or Moana when taking that which belonged to another) but they had not died because of their misdeed. They still had time to be righteous and turn to the Lord and give back what they had taken. That was how they could be redeemed.

But mostly, Filly learned, throughout this process, that she could stand up confidently, for people who were being scammed, without fear of danger from evil sources, because she knew God was watching and would guide her.

Because she made reference to herself and her nickname she got a “news” item on her phone, showing Jennifer Garner wearing potholder shoes like she was a prancing horse…and then falling down like she was an idiot…and the “horse shoes” were quilted like the article that Filly just wrote.

Filly did not care that Hollywood, (Jennifer Garner) made fun of her but she felt like Hollywood too, had eyes that did not see and ears that did not hear and hands that did not touch. NO REAL POWER. Think about it, these people on the internet and Hollywood do not have any control over what we do or think unless people give them that platform. People can just as easily STOP LISTENING to them all. Especially when they are taking what is not theirs to take.

Evil had no power when it came from something with no hands, eyes, ears or nose. Filly trusted God and the people who listened to her did as well.

And for those who were scamming or planning to scam… “ you are still alive”.
