Hello Light (re-write of “sound of silence”)

Hello light, my brilliant friend
Always the start, and not the end
You obliterate the sleepless night
Inspire the world with such enduring sight
And the vision that results from an open book
Provides a look…
Removes the sounds of violence

In the darkness we can’t see
that life is for eternity
And this kingdom, no blank space on earth
it grows and thrives with each every birth
And the Spirit, that infuses human thought
Cannot be bought
Speaks with sincere repentance

So in the turmoil we can pray
Turn the darkness back into the day
We can recognize the crooked path
make it straight, learn how to do the math.
Sing songs, with joy so the heavens hear
without fear
No more the sound of silence

Fools say “AYE, I do not know”
“I cannot reap I cannot sow”,
But the word of God is here to teach
Those who listen do not have to preach
And blessings, like manna from the sky
Help us fly
expressing true intelligence

And the light will never end
For the crooked, around the bend
Take the bible read it every morn
With it’s flowers, grateful, we adorn
Imperfections, like silent raindrops fall
We can stand tall…
Restore the sounds of reverence.
