“let my people go”

Yesterday I wrote about how thoughts are constructs, and how it reminded me of how lazy thoughts are like the lazy pig, who quickly built his pitiful house, out of straw. And the pig who was diligent and had strong thoughts, built his house of brick and it was not able to be torn down.

I thought after that, my story from yesterday was done, and that was the end of it. I thought I had said all I needed to say on that subject, but then I looked up my randomly chosen bible verse for the today and it said “the Israelite overseers realized that they were in trouble when they were told “you are not to reduce the number of bricks required of you for each day”.

I realized that this bible verse was speaking directly to me, about what I wrote the day before about bricks and straw because this chapter five in Exodus is about the struggle to produce bricks, back in biblical times, when the people were not given the materials they thought they needed.

And since I was saying that we have thoughts that are like straw, and thoughts that are like bricks, it was astonishing to me that when I read this whole chapter five in Exodus, the bible is telling me that the chosen people WERE NOT GIVEN ANY STRAW.

I think that with regards to what I wrote yesterday, this means that any thoughts, that are not “bricks”, such as thoughts that are sticks or straw, are NOT from God.

God is telling me this with the words that “ they were not given any straw”.

God only gave us only bricks, or good thoughts, which is what we NEED to be productive. The people back then thought that it was bad that they were not given straw and were still expected to make the same number of bricks. People today might still be thinking that as well. But God is telling them that he did not ever give them straw… ie. weak thoughts or flimsy constructs.

I love how God speaks to my thoughts through these bible verses that I have not even known about before, and how they give me insight I was not expecting.

It makes me think of the song my husband liked to sing to me “shes a brick HOOOUSE”. We are all brick houses. We have all the tools we need and it is up to us to build our house.

God is telling me now, and was telling the people back then, that the real home that we build, is not dependent on some earthly ruler or government, pretending to be doing us a favor by giving us some “straw” or weak thoughts, and enslaving people with force or using oppressive taxes to dominate masses of people and be powerful.

In contrast, ordinary people, we are told, freaking have bricks, when they trust in God and God’s plan. Like the ordinary people back in biblical times, people today who, won’t “let God’s people go”, are suffering from plagues such as the virus, genocide of babies, corruption in government, drug trafficking of fentenyl, speech censorship, lower school and higher education system demise, banking failures, and more.

But God IS saving his people still even now, in spite of the plagues. That is what this bible verse is telling me.

God is saying for Governments and global domination, to “Let my people go”. Oppressive Taxes, over regulation and virtual slavery is not God’s plan for his creation. I hear what God is saying and I trust God.
