Putin Prayers
Yesterday I saw posts where people were saying they wanted to pray for Ukraine. I agree with prayers, and I was thinking about how God protects his people, and so I have confidence that God has a good plan for Ukraine. I am, however, thinking about any country leaders who claim to have republic type government, but who are actually democratic dictators, and who are taking what they want for themselves from the people in the form of mandates and increasing taxes, and who do not allow the working people of that nation to have a voice or to keep what they have earned. I think maybe we should pray for THEM and their countries… we should pray for our enemies.
In the movie Paper moon, this innocent child is placed with a grifter, who repeatedly and cleverly deprives hardworking people of their money. He discovers that he can use the child to get even more efficient at taking money that does not belong to him.
To me, this is similar to the aggression directed at Ukraine because the grifter is like the head of any country today who is taking illegitimately and indiscriminately.
We may pray for the child (Ukraine) but what needs to be healed is actually the behavior of man (any aggressor) who is controlling, influencing or taking possession illegitimately of the child. And God, who sees everything, has a hand in places where it seems like an innocent child is vulnerable, I think, to highlight and give evidence of, his supreme mercy and power.
This is creatively played out in the movie, because we see that the child did not have to do anything to save herself or to cause the destruction of the grifter, as he caused his own ruin with his own greed. In the final analysis, the innocence of the child, was the only good left for the grifter, and in the end he realized he should be responsible for the child, instead of taking advantage of her.
I believe accepting responsibly for wrongs we have done, having consequences and making restitution, is, like in the movie, our only salvation. Outsiders who were praying for the child may have helped, but what changed the man, was when he was forced to see consequences and respected the innocence of the child through no aggression of her own and started giving her back what belonged to her already. The child never tried to take anything from the man, and only tried to help him, in the way only innocent thought and love is capable of.
In such a situation, I believe the innocent behavior of the child IS a form of prayer. Everything and everyone in a person’s life is there for God’s purpose. Though he was doing evil, the child still cared for him and loved the man.
Isn’t that what we are commanded to do? Love our enemies, pray for them who persecute us?
So today, as I am understanding what we are called to do, like Jesus did, I am praying for Putin, for Biden, for Trudeau, for Prince Charles, George Soros, Bill Gates, JefF Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg, Clinton, Obama, XI jinping, Kim Jong Un, Moros, sundar Pichai, Jack Dorsey, Zhang Yiming, Kamala Harris, owners of Big Pharma, and any organizations or CEOS of wall street companies, like Hedosophia (hedo meaning self indulgent) , who have sold out to socialism, (as well as any leader today, who, under the guise of caring about people, maintains self-serving self indulgent behavior which promotes violence and power grabs against innocent populations). I am praying for them because I do believe God can cause such behaviors to be overturned, and because I humbly know what happens to people who fail to listen to God and follow his ten commandments.
Biblically we have seen what happens to people who think they are supreme to God. These who think they are “supreme”people are not just white males, but are composed of people from all races, creeds, genders and colors. (Calling against “white supremacy” is misleading and virtue signaling, because socialism,( which is supposed to favor social justice, does the opposite of what it says) and is the ultimate “white supremacist”). We have seen socialism/communism being implemented using women, blacks, Asians and lawyers, politicians, social media etc., in all levels of government, the justice department, and in society, and does not just include white men as perpetrators).
We know what happens to those who fail to heed the word of God, and in contrast, what happens to those who pray and are humble and obedient. It is not what man will do to other men, but what God speaks, that we should keep in mind. The hand of God is the ultimate power.
With regards to this, I randomly and accidentally picked two, instead of just one bible verse for today for guidance.
Because I have two instead of one, there may even be a message in that…that there are “two trails” “dos senderos” “deux sentiers” “liang tiao xiaojing” “dve tropy” and which path are we being guided to take?
According to the bible, “This is what the LORD says: stand at the crossroads and look, ask for the ancient paths; where you walk is the good way? Then walk in it and you will find rest for your souls. But they said we will not walk in it.
Those who do not choose the path of righteousness, I am praying for those.

“Man does not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God”. So what God says has value and sustains mankind. Do these nations whose leaders think that they have to be aggressors, maintain value if they do not have or wield power I wondered”
With regards to Russia, Ukraine, China, Germany, Canada, South America, Africa, Australia, Europe and all the countries in the world, I looked up the GNP and the GDP of all of the countries of the world yesterday because it is a way to see their “value”. GDP looks at the value of goods and services produced within the countries borders, while the GNP considers how a countries nationals are contributing to it’s economies.
I think that judging the value of something because of what it has instead of who it is, is a mistake of judgement.
Life, in and of itself, has value, and the bible says to “choose life” and this does not just mean support it when it is “convenient”. Just because a human life, like a baby for example, does not own or produce anything, does not mean it has diminished value and “what you do to the least of these, you do unto me”Jesus says. To be true to this, for example,and to protect the least of these, someone like Pope Francis, would not have told Catholics that “those who have denied the faith, who are apostates, who are the persecutors of the Church, who have denied their baptism … blasphemers, all of them” belong to the communion of saints….
Yes we are all capable of sin, but we are not supposed to follow leaders who are continuing to sin or be deceived in to believing they are “saints”. We are supposed to remember and follow the example of Jesus, the ultimate ruler, who sustained and defended life at all times and on all levels. The diminishing value of life, under Biden, Xi, and many other “world leaders” who are NOT SAINTS, shall be overturned by an army of real saints, like Saint Joan of Arc, Saint Bernadette, Saint Francis, Saint John, and especially Saint Odilia, the patron saint of Blindness, that, like her, we are healed of “blindness” and are not be deceived by propoganda or by what we see with our eyes, but be led by what we know with our hearts.
There is no “attack”, cyber or otherwise, that can mislead people here from the truth or incite additional aggression. We are not like the people in the “historical book” “1984, who believe in images by the media, that promote involvement in war, and we refuse to be “triggered” by what “Russia” or anyone else who refuses to listen to God, can do.
Like paper moon the movie demonstrated, there still exists in this country and in the world, an extreme value placed in innocence, truth, integrity, forgiveness and restitution. I know God is directing the paths of all nations and their leaders, as we continue to listen to spiritual words that keep us uplifted and clear as to which is the right path, and which bible verse applies to us, either at this border, or at the border of Ukraine.
