the best

I think that today's randomly chosen bible verse is THE BEST.

And by faith even Sarah, who was past childbearing age, was enabled to bear children because she considered him faithful who had made the promise.” Hebrews 11 11.

She considered him faithful who made the promise.

Sarah is demonstrating the seemingly impossible, beyond natural human ability, to bring to fruition, and make possible, the promise.

I love this because each of us, who trusts in Jesus, can consider him faithful, who made the promise. This means that what seems impossible, is possible to God.
On every level this brings hope, joy, peace and profound gratitude.
I got up early to see what God has to say to us today, TO ME today, and this is what he says.

I am overjoyed. I cannot add to this. I have had some kind of flu but am healed. I have been discouraged, but am confident.

If our lives were analogous to horses running a race, the jockey is not the “driver”, God is. The horse does not need a rider to win a race, does it. Wild horses naturally run fast and far and free and in a race, and a jockey can “assist” or coach the horse, but the horse wins the race.

Like this analogy, sometimes it might seem like, without “human hands” or a “jockey” in the mix, some things are impossible to achieve, but this bible verse VEHEMENTLY refutes this. Everything is possible, with God as the driver.
God, goes the extra mile, and keeps his promises.
