The story

The rain was pouring down. It was barely light outside and because of the rain it was much cooler. Filly had wanted it to be cooler but because of the lightening, she would not be interested in walking outside.

She chose to do her workout instead in the garage. It was Sunday morning and the kids were upstairs asleep. Their parents had a date night the night before and filly and her husband had taken the kids to Luby’s because they loved the menu and her husband loved that “kids were free” on Saturdays.

When the got home, Filly had weeded all the flower beds, while one kid played with rolly polly bugs, and the other kid had ridden a bike in circles on the street out in front.

After dinner but before bed, Filly had read them a story about a little boy who had to leave his family because they were “sick”. He got sent away by his family to go work at a logging place where he would be safe.

He would be surrounded by loggers. He had to get there by train, and when he was dropped off at the train station he had to ski for five miles cross country. He was like twelve years old when this happened.

The boy’s family in the story had been Russian. They had moved to a place where the people spoke English and the family all had learned English. But the boy was going to be working in a place where they all spoke French.

The French loggers were kind to the boy and eventually he went back home and the family was not sick any more. The boy had been hired in the story book, because he was good at math and knew how to organize the books and the records.

He also had to wake up the French speaking logger men every day to go to work. The little boy also was Jewish. He could not eat the food the same way that the men ate it.

The men ate bacon (which he could not eat at all) and flapjacks, and oatmeal and milk and steak, and potatoes. The boy ate the flapjacks with the steak, no bacon on one day. The next day he would eat oatmeal with milk and no steak. The book paid attention to how the child followed his religious teachings carefully. Apparently he could not have pork and could not have meat with dairy.

While he was there he organized the books for the logging company and gave each person working there an identifying symbol, so he did a very good job. When he went home, one big

Filly liked using children’s books to make analogies. In her thinking, the kid who was a wiz at math was organizing the way that the computer identified files, log files so that the footprints which were there, could be identified with a person who they belonged to…even if that person could not or did not sign his name.

The people who were disorganized were French speaking but good people and the Russians who had left Russia to live in an English speaking country, were surrounded by disease so that meant that the computers had virus.

Putting the kid in charge of cleaning the files, was how to get rid of the virus. Someone who was good with math. Math as an acronym is (other than the word for mathematics) to have a Master of Arts in THeology, and to Make America Think Harder.

Filly believed that if Math was needed, it was to help understand the Jews, and to recognize that Jews and other religions could live harmoniously, and that they all benefitted when that happened. And also that Jewish people might have someone that is good with math, who could help correct the abuse of the internet search engines that were causing wrong results, attracting virus’s and manipulating moral values to confuse or to cause people to feel helpless.

The kids had liked the book and it had beautiful illustrations. The kid in the book had to go on a long train, and then through an area of very cold space in order to reach a place where he could help. In her mental analogy, Engines of a train are the search engines…and the trains are the information that is carried by the search engines.

The kid had to study the search engines and see what they carried in order to know how to understand how it related to the men at the logging company. Saw them face to face. He thought that they were scary and big, but they were happy, hard working and protective of the kid.

They also respected his religious ways of eating which he did not impose on them. The ice Filly thought, symbolized immigration… in the book the boy had to be comfortable with different cultures and still be able to do the math and wake up people who were slow to wake up about the internet and how it was mis-portraying things or failing to identify . Those creating the log files had nothing to do with the sickness. They had everything to do with good health.

Filly liked how this story portrayed things. She had decided to stop listening to the Jack Reacher stories because at church the week before, she had heard that a person cannot surround themselves with good, and then also learn about evil… it was like thinking about darkness and light as being together in one place.

The Jack Reacher stories, (even though Jack helped good people); the stories themselves spent a lot of time talking about a lot of evil. To Filly, talking about evil or giving it a platform, was like having a place where a virus could breed and do damage.

Filly did not want the thoughts of evil in her head at all. She did not want to hear about all the ways Reacher was able to kill people who were bad. She wanted to help people find a way to do good. Even people who had done bad things, she believed had the potential to do good. And if they were not wanting to change their behavior, after a trial by a jury of their peers, the courts could put them to work in the prison system so they could still pay for their own keep.

That is what her dad said was the best system for law and order up till now. But the judges could not be bought and paid for by George Soros or the EU, which was a travesty of justice. and the people being tried had to have consequences when convicted. And criminals could not be released until they had paid their debt to society. They could be forgiven, but there still needed to be retribution.

Filly thought about how someone had taken something wrong and stolen from her family member. LOTS of money. The glitch in Microsoft was the “virus”. People pretending to be someone else, was another “virus” and needed to be identified, and that might mean going directly to the log files. Because some little smart math guy had done his work and those who were involved were already identified.

After she had read the story, the kids had played with the walkie talkies and then one had pretended to have school, and then they had gone to bed.

Filly noticed the rain had abated. Time to get back into the workout routine. Time to ride the bike. The REAL bike in her Real garage.
