What are you watching?

Outside, in the light it is easier to see the truth.

I just finished watching the movie “Get out” and it was scary because it was about the belief that people can be hypnotized without their permission. In the movie, those who were hypnotized were powerless, and it was like they were “passengers” in their own bodies, observers only.

I do not believe that people can be hypnotized without their consent.
If that were the case, then all the people in the world have seemingly been hypnotized by fear of a virus, and are becoming more and more powerless to make their own choices. But all the people in the world are not hypnotized, and have become stronger with regards to recognizing their inherent freedoms, and with regards to defending these freedoms and protecting all their children.

I believe that people now recognize that the sources of hypnotism can be found in most news media, in posts on Instagram and twitter, and in the rhetoric of many public officials.

We know it is hypnotism when it does not bring us good but rather dis-empowers us, and gives power to something other than God. As one nation, under God, we have to be responsible and accountable to what “suggestions” from the media, from news and from public officials that we give our attention to, listen to or watch.

Just like in the movie, if we listen to it or look at it, it has the potential to influence us and drive us using fear. Driving people through fear, using hypnotism and propaganda are all evils that produce only bad results and take us out of that place of perfect peace.

Their is a perfect escape from all of the hypnotism that is trying to have a grip on the world and it is to recognize good where we see it and refuse to respond to suggestions that are fear driven or removed from what is good honest and true. Good people do not want to control other people and in the movie, that was the whole purpose. Good people want free choices and are not gratified by having power over other people.

I hope you will join me in praying for all people who are refusing to be hypnotized by falsehoods, that they are protected and respected for their individual rights.
